SPAR, through its Community Benefits Scheme has been one of the sponsors of Bingo which is a favourite pastime for the senior residents at Lermier Village in Highlands. Every other Tuesday, the residents enjoy a game of bingo with several prizes up for grabs. SPAR supports Bingo by donating a few shopping vouchers which are used as prizes for the bingo game. 

“As you can see this is how we pensioners spend our times and we are so grateful to SPAR for remembering us and making this something that we look forward to” remarked Barbara Lee, one of the Bingo players and Events Coordinator at the club.
As part of its CSR, SPAR has a Pensioners Day where pensioners get discounts on their shopping.  Sue Turner, a pensioner, also spoke favourably about the Pensioners Day. “We are lucky that we get to do our groceries at discounted rates from The Bridge and Sam Levy Levy`s Village SPAR. This is the day that we always look forward to doing our shopping and we thank SPAR and we thank SPAR for remembering its senior citizens.”
